Ingredients:
- Trader Joe's pita bread (100% stone ground whole wheat pockets)
- 3 hefty tablespoons of Ragu Chunky Sauce (tomato, garlic, & onion) or any tomato sauce of choice
- 1 can of Natural Catch Tuna, drained
- Shredded Mozzarella cheese
- Jalapeño, thinly sliced
- Red onions, thinly sliced
- Basil
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt & pepper (to your liking)
- Red chili flakes (optional if you want more spice)
Directions:
- Set your oven to 350 degrees
- Place pita bread on a flat baking dish
- Spread the tomato sauce on pita bread, then with sprinkle cheese
- Add all the toppings (tuna, jalapeño, red onions)
- Season with salt, pepper, & chili flakes
- Drizzle with Olive Oil & bake for 15-17 minutes
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves & ENJOY!
